You agree to the terms of service below, and the Terms of Use for Substack, the technology provider.
Playbook Foundry Terms of Service
Version 1.0
Effective date: 2026-01-19
Scope
These Terms govern your access to and use of Playbook Foundry (the “Publication”), including the website, emails, posts, audio, downloads, templates, protocol cards, comments, and related pages (the “Services”).
If the Services are delivered through Substack or another platform provider, that provider’s terms also apply to your use of their platform features (accounts, delivery, payments). These Terms govern your relationship with the operator of this Publication to the extent allowed by the platform.
Operator and IP
Operator: Heron Group LLC (”Heron”, “we”, “us”).
IP ownership and license: Certain trademarks, names, logos, designs, writings, and related brand assets used in this Publication are owned by a separate rights holder and are used by Heron under an exclusive license for distribution.
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
What this is
Playbook Foundry publishes operator-grade playbooks and artifacts that translate public standards and guidance into runnable practice for governance under load. Runbooks, protocol cards, case files, and distilled synthesis. Practical tools, not theater or theory.
No professional advice
Content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, security, compliance, medical, or professional advice. You are responsible for decisions made from the material and for validating it in your environment.
Access, subscriptions, and billing
Free subscribers receive free posts and any free-access features offered at the time.
Paid subscribers receive paid posts, paid-access features, and any included downloads offered at the time.
Foundry Sponsor (if offered) receives the Sponsor benefits described on the Publication’s subscription page at the time of purchase, subject to these Terms.
Benefits, pricing, tiers, and included features may change. Changes apply prospectively unless the platform requires otherwise.
Payments, renewals, and cancellations are processed through the platform provider and its payment processors.
Sponsor access duration
If a plan describes “access as long as the repository exists” or similar language, it means access continues while the Publication maintains the relevant archive or repository and while the platform supports the access mechanism. The Publication may migrate hosting, reorganize archives, or change delivery mechanisms without reducing the substance of access.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel at any time. Access typically continues through the end of the billing period, subject to platform behavior.
Refunds are handled case-by-case and are constrained by platform and payment processor capabilities.
Acceptable use
Receipts, no theater.
